Mother's Day | Gift Ideas

It's Mother's Day next Sunday and it's not too late to get organised with a gift. Spending time with the lovely lady in your life is obviously one of the best ways to celebrate but a small gift to show how much you care is always nice. I've put together a gift guide of affordable gifts for Mum, Step-Mum, Mother in Law, Granny or even Great Granny.

Isn't the Emma Bridgewater Mummy mug a classic? This was what I got for my first Mother's Day and it's become a bit of a tradition to have Afternoon Tea on the day to celebrate too (although both so far have been at home in lockdown). Emma Bridgewater has some gorgeous gifts and if you can't find exactly what you want then why not go personalised?

While we're thinking about personalised gifts, one of my favourites recently has been the Yankee Candles personalised with a photo. These are only £1 more than buying a regular large jar Yankee Candle but it's one you'll keep forever, even once you've burnt away the wax - which I can't bring myself to do yet. There's 18 scents to choose from and with full personalisation it costs £27.99. If you're quick you might be able to save 20% off with the code MUM10.

From personalised to practical, who doesn't need socks? Socks don't have to be boring though and Socksmad* have some lovely designs that would be great for Mum or Granny. This 5 pack set with bows, hearts and dots are only £8.99. Why not pair them up with some beauty gifts and make a pamper hamper?

For those Mum's that are on their feet all day, why not treat them to some Ugg style Chestnut Slippers, just without the huge price tag. I got these at Christmas time and they're really comfy and cosy. Slippers aren't always something you'd treat yourself to

If you're looking for a last minute gift you can get some lovely gifts in the Supermarket. This floral alphabet gin glass is from Tesco and paired with Mum's favourite tipple could be a nice little treat. But maybe a Floral Alphabet mug would suit your Mum instead? It's a little bargain at only £4.
