OOTN | New Years Eve

I'm not sure how we're on the second full week of January already. I feel like the holidays flew past, especially when we had Ollie's 2nd birthday to celebrate after New Years Day (more on that soon). I've been meaning to share my New Years Eve outfit and just not had the chance until now.

Our New Years Eve was quiet, like most people I'm sure. A few pink gins and lemonade, after overdoing it on the Prosecco a few nights before, on the sofa with a few friends over. I didn't want to see in the New Year without a nice outfit so put on the brightest blazer in my wardrobe.

This Pink Oversized Blazer is the perfect option for feeling a little more dressed up - regardless of the season. I sized down so that it wouldn't completely swamp me and used the hair bobble trick to shorten the sleeves. I paired it with my favourite leather look jeans and a black bodysuit, both from Primark, but I think a pair of ripped jeans would have been quite a good option too. I started the night out wearing heeled ankle boots but they were quite quickly replaced with a pair of slippers.

I did my hair with the Beauty Works Waver and had a little half up top knot which has been a bit of a go to hairstyle recently. Other than that I kept it all pretty simple, what more can you do in a kind of lockdown New Years?
