A New Look gift card plus 25% off and free delivery makes for a very dangerous situation. I made a mammoth order with a selection of different items. I thought there would be a few items that wouldn't fit right or suit me but that wasn't quite the case. Thank goodness for my bank account I go back to work next week!
My first purchase was on my Autumn Wishlist. I had my eye on the Grey Long Coat for a while and I knew there was a high chance I'd love it because my camel coat, that's pretty much the same, is easily my most worn item of clothing in Autumn and Winter. It's looking a bit tired, though I'll definitely be keeping it. I'm looking forward to wearing this one both in casual outfits with trainers and a little more dressed up with boots. This coat is £35.99 but I only paid £26.99.
I have a bit of a love hate relationship with New Look jeans. I just can't seem to find the perfect pair. There's always something that I don't love. I decided to try another pair but this time they're leggings instead of jeans in a hope that they'll be the proper skinny shape that I'm after but also a soft material. I got the Emilee Black Lift and Shape Leggings for £13.49 instead of £17.99 and tried them on with all of the new tops and jumpers.
I had a long cardigan on my Wishlist from River Island but the cream colour would 100% not have worked with a 9 month old. I was quite happy to see a similar style in New Look but a much more practical colour. The
Stone Maxi Cardigan was from the petite range which was a better option for my 5'3" height. Unfortunately it's sold out but there's a few similar ones like the camel midi cardigan. This cardigan was quite pricey actually, it cost £19.49 with the discount but I've already worn it twice so I know it's worth it.
From petite range to something from the tall section. I had the petite
Grey roll neck jumper in my basket but it sold out before I bought it. I took the risk and bought it from the
tall range and I'm so glad I did! This jumper is quite boxy and if I'd have got the petite one it would have been a cropped jumper. I love the colour, the material and thankfully the fit. £19.99 is a good price so £14.99 is a bit of a bargain for a Winter knit like this.Onto a Autumn and Winter basic. I bought a burgundy roll neck long sleeve top with plans to wear it under a pinafore or maybe tucked into an A-Line skirt. Most of my long sleeve tees like this are black or white so this is good to mix it up a bit. These tops are 2 for £16 so a good wee deal if you're stocking up on basics.
I can't decide if the yellow Bee Kind Tshirt is an Autumn colour or not. Regardless it's a nice graphic T-shirt to throw on with a pair of jeans. It was in the sale for £6 but there's only a couple of sizes left.

My last two purchases are both Autumn florals from brands at New Look. Keeping with the burgundy and purple shades for Autumn I loved the JDY Ditsy Floral Blouse when I first spotted it. To see it was in the sale for only £6 I was sold. It's a super soft but thin material so a good one for layering. The peplum style makes it a little short but I think it's quite flattering.
I'm not sure how Autumn/Winter the pink Ruched sleeve floral wrap dress is but I was drawn to it. It's from the Honey Behave brand which I've never heard of. Because it was a brand I didn't get any discount so it was £24.99 but I think it's worth it. I'm loving the ruched sleeves and I think it's the sort of dress I'd wear going out for lunch or dinner. It's girly and a flattering fit.
I love that cardigan - so perfect for fall! I definitely have a bunch of cardigans out for the fall season.
