Your wedding day is going to be one of the happiest day of your life, a real dream come true. Nobody on the planet should have a wedding that doesn’t make them happy in all kinds of ways! You deserve to have things the way that you want them from start to finish, even if things seem to go wrong in the planning stages. Here’s a few things you should be doing to ensure that your wedding day turns out to be the happiest day of your life…
The Perfect Dress
You’re going to need the perfect dress. This is not negotiable, you’ve got to go out and find the dress that makes you feel like a princess. If you don’t feel like this every single day of your life, then you certainly deserve this one very special day. If it isn’t perfect, don’t wear it. We know that this sounds spoilt to a certain extent, but you’re allowed to do whatever you want on your wedding day. Set yourself a budget before you go, though, because we don’t want you to get too worked up over a dress that isn’t in your price range.
Show your budget to the person in the store, and they will be able to give you some of the options they have available. Talk to them about the kind of design that you want, and we can guarantee you that they are going to be able to find something perfect for you. Like we said, though, don’t settle. Don’t say you like something when you don’t just to spare someone’s feelings.
A Professional Photographer
You’re going to need a professional wedding photographer to capture those special moments that you don’t get to witness. You can’t be around to see every single thing that is happening on your wedding day, so it’s nice that you are going to get the opportunity to see them after the big day. You want to see everyone enjoying themselves, and most of all, the way that you are sparkling. It’s the happiest day of your life, so you’re bound to be smiling for most of the day!
The People You Love
Finally, the day should be spent with the people that you love most in the world. Don’t feel as though you have to invite a single person that you don’t want to, because you really don’t. We know that there can be pressure from friends or family about certain people, but remember that it is your day. The only people that should be there to celebrate with you are the ones that are happy and support you every step of the way. There should be nothing but love on this day, and anyone that you think could ruin this should not receive an invite.
Good luck, and have a happily ever after.
Great post - whenever I get married I plan on using my mom's old dress. The fabric is absolutely fabulous so I will just need to make some alterations to it to make it my perfect dress. :)
