L'AVES Skincare | Toner, Serum & Elixir Review

According to the Royal Mail Skincare was 2nd on the list of most popular orders during lockdown. I can quite believe it as the amount of time I spent on skincare definitely increased and the amount I spoke about products with friends was on the rise too. I was really making an effort to create a consistent skincare routine and choose products that were really designed to target my skin concerns. I was really excited when I got the chance to try out some products from L'AVES Skin Riches*

L'AVES is a natural skincare brands with 90% organic ingredients and is 100% vegan. The products are targeted to suit your age and skin type while also being environmentally conscious. I was quite intrigued by the fact that the products are made in small batches to ensure they're fresh and perfect quality. I also loved that you're able to buy samples of their products because high quality products with such natural ingredients are obviously more expensive than the skincare that it mass produced and packed full of chemicals.

The first product that I've been trying is the L'aves Botanical Rain Mist Toner. This can be used in a couple of different ways. It can be used morning and night before or after makeup and gets sprayed directly onto the face. It deeply hydrates, detoxes and restores cellular energy. It comes in a lovely sleek bottle with 100ml of product for £40.

I've been using it morning and night on a clean face. It really does feel hydrating and refreshing. It's also quite soothing and calming especially when my skin is quite hot and sensitive after being in the shower. Unfortunately, I'm not keen on the scent of this, it's quite nature-like which sounds quite daft when it's called a Botanical Rain Mist. It's likely because the ingredients include rose, lavender, chamomile, aloe vera and bamboo stem. I'm hopeful that it's something I'll grow to like. But so far it's not put me off using it. With ingredients like that it's definitely a good product for sensitive skin and for me it's great to tackle dehydration, especially as we move into the colder months.

I'm loving eye products right now, even more since having a baby at the start of the year. I've been using the L'Aves Eye Like Steel Eye Serum in hope that it'll reduce my dark circles and refresh my tired eyes. The ingredients list includes bamboo stem water which improves skin elasticity, Acai berry fruit extract and Aloe Vera for hydration and Green Tea extract for brightening and improving the skin's texture.

This is a best seller and I can see why. Although it's £52 for 10ml which sounds expensive it really only takes the smallest amount of product to treat your eyes. It's obviously not going to completely transform your eyes overnight but it feels so hydrating every time I use it and it definitely helps me to look a little more awake. This would definitely be a good product if you're trying to tackle ageing, puffiness or wrinkles, it's such a hydrating serum.

The last product that I've been trying and probably my favourite one is the Bright and Lift Facial Elixir. This is another best seller and is one of those products that seem to give almost instant results. This facial serum can be used morning and night to nourish, to regenerate skin cells and to boost complexion. My skin feels healthy and hydrated.

It's a very rich serum. It recommends 5 drops which doesn't sound like much and you really don't need much more than that. It's amazing how powerful a few products of product can be. Because of that I tend to just use it at night time rather than trying to apply makeup on top.  It's £65 for the 30ml bottle but that's sure to last ages.
