Favourites | Skincare, Haircare & Tasty Treats

It's been a wee while since I've shared my favourites, nearly three months in fact. I thought it was time to share some of the products that I've been using loads and loving. There's also a little random favourite in there for good measure.

Starting off with an old favourite. I've not been wearing much makeup but I've really been enjoying using Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish to wash away any concealer, mascara and bronzer and to leave my skin feeling clean and refreshed at night. My skin has been feeling much more hydrated and benefitting from making sure it's properly cleansed each night. I really noticed when I applied a full face of makeup recently just how much my skin had improved.

My next favourite has definitely been a helping hand in achieving that hydrated healthy base. I bought a few things from Glossier for the first time in April and so far, so good. You know you're onto a winner when they sit on your dressing table for easy access and not stuffed in a drawer, slowly being forgotten about. You only need to look at my Glossier Super Glow Serum to see how much I've used already. My skin always feels so soft after applying this and even with the early mornings or disturbed sleep of Mum life I never look quite as tired as I sometimes feel.
In May I spoke about how much I was loving the Herbal Essences Hydration Shampoo. I finished it and although I'll definitely buy it again I was very excited to start using the Hairburst Shampoo and Conditioner. I've said a few times, postpartum hair loss is real. I couldn't actually believe how much hair was coming out in the shower, in my hair brush and just in general. I've reduced the amount of heat I use right down and have been doing everything I can to try and protect my hair. I've been using the Hairburst combo for a month now and really loving the results. My hair is obviously not going to grow dramatically in that time but my hair is looking shinier. It might be wishful thinking but I also feel like I'm not losing quite so much hair.

My last favourite is a bit random, a bit dangerous but absolutely amazing. I've been loving Lotus Biscoff spread. I initially bought it after my best friend made some Biscoff fudge and I wanted to try making Biscoff Blondies. They were a complete hit and I loved them but I've also loved Biscoff spread on a more regular basis, not just as part of an awfully calorific cake. I've been having Biscoff spread on toast or melted to dip apple in.
