Try On Haul | In The Style & Quiz

I shared my clothing Wishlist last week with all the things I wanted for the forecasted sunny days and then for the inevitable rainy days. I didn't even last 24 hours after the post went live before I went ahead with my order from Quiz Clothing but I also got a couple of things from In the Style out of the blue. I used a discount code for both websites, delivery was pretty quick from both places and even better I'm ready for the heatwave!
Let's start with the loungewear from In The Style. I've only ever ordered from there once before. I look at the collaborations every so often but don't tend to like all the loungewear co-ords and joggers, and then the going out stuff isn't quite my style. That's what makes this order even more of an impulse buy.

I can't decide if I've been watching too much Gossip Girl or if it was just the colour that drew me in but I got the Peach Upper East Side Varsity Sweatshirt from the Meggan Grubb collaboration. It's oversized and because my usual smaller size was out of stock I went down a size again and it ended up being a good fit. I actually love it. It's nice and soft, a bright Summery colour and perfect for those at home days. This was £26, down from £28, which is a bit over priced but I found a discount code for 20% off, thankfully.

The next jumper I bought was the Pink Knitted Wide Neck Lounge Top from the Jacqueline Jossa collaboration. It's the perfect shade of pink and although I would never wear the matching knitted joggers I liked the top. The off the should style is quite relaxed but flattering. I'm not 100% sure off the elastic at the bottom of the jumper. It might look better tucked in and I feel like it looks a bit short for me.

I wanted the Navy floral print maxi dress from the Quiz website and had visions of wearing it in my garden or eventually at night time abroad. It's a lovely dress but a bit more formal than I was expecting. The material feels a bit heavier and it's actually a bit too long for me. This would be quite nice as a wedding guest maybe, and with a pair of heels but it's just not working as the casual maxi dress I'd hoped it would be. Quiz has 20% off everything just now and this dress is only £26.39, but looks like it'll be all sold out soon.

The next Navy Ditsy Floral Print Maxi Dress from Quiz isn't on the website anymore which seems strange after only buying it last week! This was the last thing that I put in my basket and is actually my favourite thing in this whole haul. Obviously navy and floral print is pretty much the same as the last dress but something made me want to try this one too. I wondered if the thin straps would be better or the double slit. It's a bit more fitted too and has ended up being more casual and lighter material. This maxi dress is a good length for me and I'm 5'3" so it's not the longest of maxi dresses. It was £23.99 before the extra 15% off.
I bought the Pink and White Polka Dot Culottes and love them. They really are so colourful, cheery and girly. They're comfortable and would be perfect with a white top or black top for a quick, easy Summer outfit. They're definitely worth the £18.39 price tag, or even £22.99 when they're full priced. I sized down in hope that it would mean the length of the culottes would be cropped enough for my short legs. I'm gutted that actually these just look like their a bit too short for me rather than properly cropped.

My last purchase was the Satin Floral High Neck Peplum Top. This was over half price at £12 and I thought it was worth trying it. It's the sort of top I'd wear with jeans or leather look trousers for dinner and drinks. It's actually a bit better suited for Autumn or Winter time than Summer so I suppose it's a bit more like planning ahead. It's quite a nice top but I sometimes find peplum tops are a bit short on my body and that's the case with this one unfortunately.
