Simple Skincare | Triple Protect Moisturiser

How ironic that when I'm sitting writing this it's pouring rain, but nevertheless we've had some amazing weather recently. I feel like I've been much more conscious of suncream and extra careful to apply and reapply. I don't want to be putting a regular suncream on my face that isn't designed for that in case it breaks me out. I had always just assumed the skincare I was using had SPF. Turns out that wasn't always the case. Caroline Hirons recommends SPF30 or 50 on your face and that was exactly what I was going to do.

I'm not in a sunny country so I didn't want to spend loads. I'd rather have something I could use everyday and know I was being protected even if the sun doesn't seem out. I went with a new product from a brand I trust and bought the Simple Protect and Glow Triple Protect SPF30 Moisturiser.

Simple have brought out a new Protect 'N Glow range and the moisturiser was exactly what I was looking for. It has SPF30 and protects from UVA and UVB rays as well as everyday pollution and blue light from electronic devices which is something I use loads but have never really thought about...

I don't think there's many Simple skincare products that I've tried and not liked and this one is no different. The fact that Simple products have no harsh chemicals make them perfect for all skin types. I have quite sensitive skin so the mild ingredients don't aggravate it. The ingredients list includes Vitamins C and E as well as ginger root.

I've really enjoyed adding in this moisturiser to my morning skincare routine. It's really lightweight and sinks into my skin quite well so I'm able to apply any makeup products quite quickly after. It's not at all chalky or greasy feeling. I have dry/dehydrated skin and this has been moisturising enough to leave my skin feeling softer and hydrated throughout the day.

As for price, it's £6.99 for 40ml which is really affordable. Some of the other products I'd looked at originally were £20+ for less product. You're likely to get this on offer regularly in Boots or Superdrug too; I only paid £3.45 when it was on a half price offer. So far this has lasted well but it's worth noting I don't have to apply it regularly throughout the day except for the odd occasion - thanks Scottish Summer.
