OOTD | Winter Jumper Dress

I've never appreciated an easy to throw on outfit as much as I do now as a Mum. I don't have time to stare in my wardrobe each morning to decide what to wear, and I was definitely guilty of doing that before. One of my favourite outfits when I was pregnant was a jumper dress and I was gutted to pack it away with the rest of my maternity clothes. It's perfect for winter and is a bit more exciting than a jumper and jeans (which is pretty much my daily uniform right now). We were heading out for lunch and shopping last weekend and I finally  had a new jumper dress which was perfect to wear.

This Black High Neck Jumper Dress* is really soft and comfortable without being far too thick and warm. I sized up but it's really quite short, I wouldn't be brave enough to wear this without tights. I wore it with a pair of over the knee boots from Primark, but there's a similar pair on Boohoo. These flat boots are a good option for during the day as they're not quite as dressy as heeled ones.

I wore my trusty camel coat from New Look. It's probably my most worn jacket through Autumn and Winter and I've had it about a year and a half. You can't get this exact one anymore but there's so many like it on the high street. River Island has a petite belted trench coat and Boohoo has one that's pretty much the same.

My handbags have been made redundant most days and replaced by my Cath Kidston changing bag. This is far from a neutral bag but it's such a good one. It's a great size, has plenty of different pockets and compartments and can be worn as a backpack, carried with the handle or attached to the pram. I bought this in the sale so you can't get this Wimbourne Rose pattern online anymore but the backpack nappy bag is available in a garden print or polka dot pattern
