Night Out | Outfit & Makeup

On Saturday night I headed out to celebrate one of my best friends birthdays. She booked out a Tapas restaurant and to say it was carnage is probably an understatement. Lets just say the drinks meal reached £1000! I wasn't ready to leave Ollie overnight just yet and one glass of prosecco was more than enough for me after being off it for so long but that certainly didn't stop me having a good night.

I was excited to get dressed up in something new, to do my makeup in more than 5 minutes and to curl my hair. My playsuit is from River Island. I bought this in the sale just after Christmas and I'm loving the wrap front, the length of the sleeves and how flattering but also comfortable it was. You can also get it in a beige colour which would be fab for Spring or Summer. I'm a little in between sizes right now, particularly in dresses and playsuits so the top was really loose and low cut on me. I wore a high neck black lace bralet from Primark which which helped with the over revealing situation. I wore black tights to keep warm in the stormy, Wintery weather and a pair of black chunky heeled boots from New Look.
My skin has been a little dry recently so I used Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation for a full coverage look that's hydrating with a luminous finish. I also used the Clarins Instant Concealer in addition to my usual Revolution Concealer to help tackle the tired Mum look. I wore Ardell Faux Mink 811 Lashes and with some Duo eyelash glue they stayed put. I contoured with Benefit Hoola Bronzer and used Huda highlighter on my cheek bones and below my eyebrows. My liquid lipstick is the NYX Lip Lingerie in Bedtime Flirt

For my hair I curled my hair in three layers using the Babyliss curling wand. I used the TIGI Bed Head Hairspray to hold the curls and to create a bit of shape with my side fringe which has been a little shapeless and unruly recently. I also had a rose gold hair slide in the side of my hair holding a section back - much better than a Kirby grip that never stays in place!
