New Nails | Pink, Grey & Silver

I had plans to say goodbye to my Christmas nails at the beginning of the month but my baby had other ideas. Instead of getting my nails done at 11am, with the intention of going shorter and leaving one clear in case of an oxygen check, I was in a hospital holding my little boy who was 2 hours old. Because of that my January nails have actually ended up being a little bit more exciting than I was intending.

I feel like most Januarys I go shorter with my nails. It's normally because my nails are a bit over the top in November and December for my birthday and Christmas. This year shorter nails are definitely a bit more practical with a baby. My favourite shape for shorter nails is square and I always feel they are easiest to work with.

One of my most worn nail colours is without a doubt petal. This pastel pink suits my skin tone, is super girly and goes well with loads of different designs. I've had it with floral nail art, with rose gold foils and marbleI couldn't have all one colour and no glitter this time either.

I fancied a bit of grey alongside the pink and V103 was the perfect grey to pair up with #Bling - the silver glitter on my ring finger. I used Pinterest to get a bit of inspiration for some nail art or an accent nail. I decided to go with some lines using Daisy and #Bling.
