Lighthouse Clothing | Getting Outside

The Autumn sun might be shining but it sure feels freezing outside. The temperature in my car said it was only 6 degrees and there's already been mention of potential wintery showers coming soon so it's little wonder I don't leave my house anymore without a cosy jacket. Most of my my Winter jackets are black and plain and if I'm wearing my trusty black skinny jeans and Chelsea boots then I just start to look a little dull. I fancied something a bit different for getting outside and Lighthouse Clothing* had the perfect Winter combination for me.

Let's start with the beautiful jacket the Lauren Raincoat in Blackcurrant Floral. This waterproof jacket is perfect for the unpredictable weather and the windproof fabric is much appreciated when out and about in Scotland. It comes in pink and true blue but I love the purple shade and floral print for something a little more exciting and stylish. The jacket is a three quarter length which is cosy, flattering and practical in the bad weather. The good sized, adjustable hood is a must and there's plenty of space in the pockets whether it's storage for my phone or a snug place to keep my hands warm. I sized up in this jacket to make space for my bump but the adjustable waist drawcord is brilliant for cinching in the waist and making it a perfect fit. The Lauren Raincoat has a £84.95 price tag which is really fair for it's soft lining quality and shoreline waterproof fabric. If you're quick you can get this design for £69.95 in the Autumn Warmth sale

It's not just the raincoat I was relying on to keep me warm on our Saturday afternoon stroll. Lighthouse Clothing has a selection of Merino Wool scarves woven in Ireland and I've got the Merino Scarf in Lilac Dusk Blue Stripe. I love the mix of colours, they go well with both my Lauren Raincoat but also my black winter coatsThe scarf is 180cm long and 28cm wide so it's long enough to wrap round and keep cosy but also it doesn't drown me or look ridiculous when I leave it unwrapped. It's a gorgeous soft wool and doesn't leave my clothes covered in fluff so a definite bonus. The Merino scarves come in 4 different colours and are £39.95 but have a £10 off offer on just now!

Lighthouse Clothing is based in Northern Ireland with all of their products being designed with the weather and practicality in mind - you can definitely tell. There's free delivery and free returns on all their orders so if you're looking for a coat to keep you snug on the dog walk, for your commute to work or for weekend getaways outdoors definitely check out Lighthouse Clothing.
