ARK Skincare | Hydrating Serum

I've said time and time again that my skin is dry, dehydrated and sensitive, and Winter is always the worst for me. I don't go a day without applying moisturiser and I'm picky when it comes to cleansers so that my skin isn't left feeling tight and sore. I've shared my love for ARK Skincare before so you can imagine my excitement when I found out about their best-selling serums. ARK Skincare has a range of 6 different serums and one in particular is designed to hydrate skin of all ages.

The ARK Skincare Skin Perfector Hydrating Serum* is a serum packed full of minerals that work to moisturise, smooth roughness and protect against dullness. It's described as a serum which cocoons your skin in a veil of hydration. I'm open to using any product that says it'll instantly hydrate dry and thirsty skin so one that will plump fine lines is an added bonus. A little pricier at £45 for 30ml but so worth the money and one that is going to last.

It didn't even take a week for me to both see and feel the difference that this serum makes. I changed nothing else in my skincare routine, simply added in applying a couple of drops of serum every night before my moisturiser.

At the beginning of the week my forehead was flakey looking and feeling (my usual Winter time struggles) and my makeup looked a little dull. By the end of the week my forehead was "fixed" and my whole face looked healthier. I was able to set part of my makeup with powder, which isn't something I would do with dry skin, and I was getting compliments from people at work. It's definitely quick to get to work and super hydrating.

I must admit I was quite surprised by how runny the serum was when I first used it especially as it says use 2-3 drops. After using it a couple of times I realised it was better to put the serum into the palm of my hand rather than my fingertip and that way I could quickly apply it all over my face. The serum has Laminaria Algae in its ingredients list and it's one of the reasons you feel an instant burst of moisture. The packaging feels every bit as luxurious as the product. The glass bottle looks good and the applicator is quick and easy to use.

If you've got dry, dehydrated skin then this ARK Skincare Hydrating Serum might just be the game changer you need. With Vegan friendly products that are made in the UK and never tested on animals I think ARK Skincare would make quite a nice Christmas gift this year.
