On Saturday we were heading out to celebrate a friend's wedding dance with a little meal out first then an evening of dancing. After having so many weddings this year I was determined to wear something that was already in my wardrobe, rather than buying a new outfit again. Obviously that's not quite as easy with a 26 week bump but I was ready for the Autumn Wedding Outfit challenge...
The satin pleated midi skirt is from Primark last Christmas time and I just never got round to wearing it. When I pulled it from the drawer, still with the labels on, I really wasn't sure it was going to fit. I was delighted to find positioned just above my bump was a really comfortable fit and a good length. The midi and pleated skirt trend is still 100% in so even if you can't get this one from Primark anymore there's a few similar ones. Zara has one which is pretty much exactly the same (double the price tag, but needs must) and Missguided has a gorgeous green midi skirt with ever so slightly different pleats. New Look has loads of pleated midi skirts in different colours is green isn't up your street.
I kept the rest of my outfit quite simple with a black high neck cami from New Look which I've worn time and time again both dressed up and casual. My black block court heels are Head Over Heels by Dune and my monogram clutch bag is from RealUnique.
The weather on Saturday was quite blustery and when I would usually just wear my hair curled and down I decided to try a messy, curly updo. I'm not sure if it's because I've got a fuller side fringe or whether it's the style of my top but I'm loving the updo. It was also a good opportunity to wear my new Rose Gold Drop Stone Earrings from Next.
My makeup was my usual mix for a night out lots of Estee Lauder Double Wear, Benefit Hoola Bronzer and a hint of a bronzed smokey eye with the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette. My false lashes were another set from the Eylure Enchanted Range* at Falseeyelashes.co.uk. These ones were the Eylure Enchanted Bloomin' Lovely and they really were blooming lovely to apply and wear. On my lips is Benefit They're Real Double the Lip in Lusty Rose, which is a good one for in the Winter as it's quite creamy and hydrating on dry lips.
