New Nails | Navy & Rose Gold

I shared my wedding guest outfit from my sister-in-law’s wedding last week and because I had my nail appointment the day before the wedding I was able to have new nails to tie in the whole look. It’s all about the navy and rose gold for these nails.

It’s not often that I would have navy on my nails but as we get closer to winter I start to gravitate towards some darker colours with burgundy and black being a regular favourite. I wanted something to match my Want That Trend dress and went for The Gel Bottle Royal Navy on three fingers. To add a bit of glitz we used a line of rose gold gems on the middle finger and one at the base of each pinky. Not one to have a plain nail we added a cuff of The Gel Bottle Rose Gold.

Choosing a glitter is up there as one of my favourite parts of new nail day. Magpie Beauty has so many amazing colours to choose from and I finally settled for Magpie Beauty Peaches Glitter. It’s a rose gold holographic glitter with a mix of small and medium glitters. It’s a lovely girly glitter to go with the dark blue.

We changed the shape of my nails slightly going for a bit of a mix between a ballerina and almond shape. Probably one of the pointiest styles I’ve had in a while. The nails have been finished off with the Gel Bottle Extreme Shine Top Coat and I think it’s quite clear to see from the photos just how effective it is.
