I feel like night time on holiday is a bit like on Love Island, after a day sunbathing you head back to wash away the sun cream, do your hair and makeup and get all dressed up to be technically heading out to your back garden. I suppose at least on holiday we were heading out for dinner and for a few drinks, mocktails in my case. We always took a few photos each night, and good way to track my husband's tan and my non-existent one and so I thought I'd share a few of my holiday night time outfits.
My first outfit is actually a few years old but a total essential when it comes to my holiday night time wardrobe, it's a pink floral cold shoulder playsuit from New Look. With a stretchy waist it's handy after a week of all inclusive meals and drinks but it's also a totally flattering fit. Obviously because I've had it for a while it's not in New Look anymore but you can still get really similar styles like the navy cold shoulder playsuit from Boohoo and pink floral one from Yoins.
My second outfit is amongst one of my most recent purchases, a Leopard Print Wrap Skirt from Quiz with simple black vest top. This is definitely an outfit I'd wear out at home, not just on holiday. Animal print is still all over the high-street and you can get similar skirts in ever so slightly different styles like the New Look leopard print skirt with smaller print and a slightly shorter version from Pretty Little Thing.
My most glam outfit was the night we went to the Turkish a la carte restaurant. I wore the Black Wrap Midi Dress from Primark that I wore to a wedding in March. New Look has a really similar black satin midi dress at the moment. Unfortunately at 17 weeks pregnant this one was a bit of a tight squeeze compared to the last time I wore it but it's actually a really flattering style of dress.
My last outfit was another that's been in my wardrobe for ages; a navy and pink Floral Print Jumpsuit from Quiz. You can't get this exactly style anymore but I quite like the other navy and pink floral jumpsuit that Quiz have in just now. Jumpsuits are quite handy for the start of the holiday before you've got much colour.
The hotel we were staying at was basically set in a hill and so going to and from our room to the restaurant or bar involved quite a few steps and a steep incline. I knew this from the last time we stayed and along with the over 30 degrees heat at night knew there was no point in packing heels at all. Each night I wore a pair of sandals from either Accessorize, New Look or Primark. Much more comfortable and practical.
