High Street Fashion | New In For Autumn

I feel like I woke up this morning and Summer has been well and truly replaced by Autumn. It doesn't actually officially become Autumn until late in September but I've got the Autumnal vibes already. The weather was miserable, the house felt a little cold and the only way to sort the situation was to light a candle and have a cup of tea curled up under a throw. With a change of season comes the change in wardrobe and I love all things cosy and rich colours. Out with the bright neons and in with the greens, browns and reds. I've picked out some of my favourite items from Quiz, Boohoo, New Look, Pretty Little Thing, Dorothy Perkins and River Island so they're all on trend and totally affordable.

First up is a gorgeous Green and Black Animal Print Playsuit from Quiz. A playsuit like this would be amazing with a pair of heels for a night out or with tights and boots for something a little more casual. Animal print is still all over the high street and I love both the classic beige but also the coloured print like this green one.  I wear a lot of berry reds and burgundy shades every Autumn and Winter so it's nice to find a new piece that fits the bill. This Wrap Front Berry Shirt Dress is less than £20 from Boohoo. I quite like the flared sleeves and the wrap front is quite a flattering look. I love a blazer any time of the year but with the chillier weather they're a good thing to throw on with a pair of jeans and t-shirt. The Camel Crepe Blazer is from New Look and could make any Autumnal outfit look more put together.

Another jacket but this time something a little shorter and more casual. The Khaki Faux Suede Biker Jacket is from Pretty Little Thing and would look amazing with a girly dress, tights and boots. Speaking of boots, I've got a shoe cupboard over flowing with boots but there's always space for another pair. Dorothy Perkins does a good, comfortable pair and my favourites are the Taupe Zip Ankle Boots. These would be perfect with jeans regardless of whether they're black or denim. My last pick is the cosiest looking Beige Asymmetric Knitted Jumper from River Island. Who doesn't love a knitted jumper when the weather gets colder?
