OOTD | Summer Wedding Guest

Last Saturday saw us attending our first wedding of the Summer, and our third of 2019. One of my work besties was marrying her childhood sweetheart and after having 'wedding corner' at work for the past 2 years I was so excited to see her day all come together.

I wore a Pleated Midi Dress from New Look. It's a bit of a mix between a coral and light pink so perfect for the Summer and suits me to a T. The halter neckline is a flattering shape and the layered design did a good job of disguising my not so obvious 14 week bump. I still just look like I've eaten a few too many packets of crisps. I'm quite short so the length of the dress is quite long on me but nothing a good pair of heels can't disguise.

My heels are Cream Courts from Dorothy Perkins. They're only 4 inches high so the type of shoes I can keep on my feet comfortably all day and night, even on the dance floor. I definitely love the Danielle Court Shoes from Dorothy Perkins for a wedding. My bag, which doesn't actually feature in any of the photos, is my personalised Initial Clutch from Real Unique. A good size for the absolute essentials.

My fascinator is also from Dorothy Perkins. It's a monochrome mesh loop and bow design and the best bit is that it's on a headband so it's really easy to put on. I feel most comfortable with my hair down, even at an outdoor ceremony, so I stuck to doing it myself. I curled my hair, added a bit of volume with powder and backcombing then pinned it to the side and covering the headband. Simple but stayed in place all night.
