Home Updates | Spring Photo Refresh

I know lots of people associate Spring with having a spring clean in your house; having a good old clear out. I'm totally the same but I also like to have a bit of a refresh. Sometimes that means a lick of paint in a room, on the doors or out on the decking. This year it's been about a change up on the photos that we've got in our house. Some of the photos are around 3 years old from the time when we first moved into our house and it feels like a good time to refresh them. Thankfully Jessops* make that very easy and affordable.

In some places around our home we already had photo frames that just needed something more up to date in them. We had photos of us long before our wedding and of our family before our niece was born and it's important to us to keep it current and have a Spring Photo Refresh. Photo printing is so quick and inexpensive on Jessops. Some of our favourite recent moments including Mother's Day with 4 generations and my husband and I at weddings this year were taken just with my iPhone X. Once they've been printed, in various sizes of 6x4 or 5x7, they look so bright, crisp and high quality you would think they were taken on a fancy camera!

There was also a few places around our home that was lacking a bit of personalisation and a bit of us. We took advantage of Jessops amazing homeware range, and offers (including 50% off) and bought some stunning collages. With our wedding and honeymoon last year we have some amazing memories stored away and rather than just picking out one or two photos I loved the idea of a multi print frame.

The first Multi Print Frame I got was a 16 print frame sized 16" by 16" . I wanted a frame to go in my dressing room to replace the boring, dull canvas that I had up on the wall. Because this is strictly my room I went for pictures from my home hen, away hen and wedding all with my friends. I absolutely love the mixture of bright and happy photos packed full of amazing memories.

The second one is a 12" by 12" Multi Print Frame. This Frame with 13 prints was for in our hallway and was a brilliant way to combine our wedding and honeymoon snaps. I love that we were able to put one of our favourite first dance photos in the middle and surround it with selfies and landmark shots. We got both the frames in oak veneer as it matches our decor well but you can also get them in white. They're fantastic quality and such a convenient way to display lots of little photos.

With a few new bits of furniture in our kitchen/dining room renovation we needed to get some simple photo frames for on top of the sideboard (when it arrives) and on the window sills. We had planned to keep searching for some frames in places like Homesense but when Jessops does sleek glass frames with the print arriving already inside it cuts out the middle man. With the discounts and offers available it only cost £6 which is probably hard to beat in lots of shops.

We couldn't update our photos around our house without our bunny rabbit getting in on the action. I think our new large faux suede cushion with our adorable lionhead on the front is a fantastic talking point. I can't tell you how many times I've looked across at the sofa and genuinely thought our rabbit was sitting on it - that's how crisp and clear the print is. This was a photo I took of Rory in the garden just the other week on my iPhone X with portrait mode. I love it.
