New Look Wishlist | New For Spring

Spring is sight and I think the hint of warmer weather and sunny days makes me even more excited for the changing season. I'm looking forward to swapping my boots for sandals, to wear dresses without having to layer up with cardigans and to be able to wear lighter tops and blouses without worrying about freezing. New Look has been my favourite clothes shop for years and it's coming up trumps again for Spring/Summer '19.

There's a few pastel tones in the New In section and my favourite is the Mint Button Front Midi. I loved wearing a midi dress last Summer for an effortless, stylish look. This one is £19.99 so quite affordable and a good option for workwear too. The button front trend is clearly very much still in. Another one with the buttons is the Grey Button Front Cami. This £12.99 top is the sort of thing I like to wear with a pair of jeans and sandals - simple.

Much of my top picks are quite neutral or muted tones, all except the Yellow Collared Shirt. I still love yellow for a pop of colour and this is quite different to my usual long sleeve blouses. For £15.99 it's quite a good wardrobe addition.

Jumpsuits are a fantastic outfit option for Spring and Summer when day plans turn into night out occasions. Last year I wore a striped culotte jumpsuit for my end of work day/night out and then ended up wearing it loads throughout the Summer so I wouldn't mind spending £30 on a Black Check Culotte Jumpsuit. This is the sort of thing that can be worn with heels to be a little more dressy or just flip flops for a casual look.

Two pairs of shoes caught my eye and they're both sandals priced at £19.99. The pastel trend Lilac Strappy Sandals and the print trend Animal Print Sandals. I'm definitely a sandals girl so quite like having lots of different options for different occasions.

2019 - the year of the Spice Girls Reunion Tour. You bet I joined the thousands of 90's kids desperate for tickets to relive our childhood. A group of 6 of us will be having a girly weekend away with the Spice World concert being the highlight of the trip. It's for that obvious reason that the £7.99 Spice It Up T-shirt has made it onto my wishlist.
