Ready for Spring | Floral Bedding

Spring doesn't officially start until the 20th of March but with the brighter mornings creeping in and slightly later sunsets I'm ready to bring a bit of Spring into my life. We might still need our winter duvet on our bed but that doesn't mean we can't have some Spring florals on the covers. With a little thanks to IWOOT our bedroom looks a little brighter, a little cheerier and dare I say it, a little girlier too!

Who knew I Want One of Those did homeware? I love IWOOT for finding quirky little presents for birthdays and special occasions but I was surprised to come across Catherine Lansfield Homeware on the gift and gadget website. Even better I was able to get two King Size Duvet covers delivered for just over £30, the best prices I could find online.

Our bedroom is painted grey with neutral colours for the blinds, curtains, carpet and furniture and so the only pop of colour comes from our bedding. If I could get my way I would have a big injection of colour through a pink duvet cover but that's not very fair on my  husband so I settled wit the Catherine Lansfield Canterbury Duvet Set. The pink and white roses are romantic without being too over the top and the grey and white polka dot on the reverse match in well with our bedroom decor.

Away from pink being my favourite colour, I love yellow and grey together. I had to get the Catherine Lansfield Ochre Duvet Set for it's grey and white florals on a bright background. A little less girly than the Canterbury design this one will look brilliant in our bedroom all year round. Similarly, the reversible side has a two tone grey polo dot design. Catherine Lansfield duvet covers are soft and the poly-cotton fabric washes well so they're going to last. Each duvet cover comes with a set of two matching pillow cases so all that's left to think about is the fitted sheet and throw cushions like our Amara Sequin one or the Matalan Faux Fur Duo.
