NOTD | All Loved Up

Happy Valentine's Day! With my new nail day being just before Valentine's Day I decided to go for an All Loved Up theme but wanted something that I wouldn't get bored of as soon as Valentine's Day was over, so nothing too over the top. I also wanted to try out some of the new releases in The Gel Bottle's Glitter Collection - what an amazing new collection!

I'm definitely more of a pink girl than red when it comes to choosing nail colours and actually the lighter, more nude shades suit my skin tone best so I was really excited to have French Bloom as my base colour. My middle finger is #BABE and I absolutely love it. It's a rose toned pink multi-size chunky glitter. It reminds me of the Magpie Beauty Minnie glitter which was a regular for me. Then on my thumb I've got #BLESSED which is a much finer, almost holographic glitter with a pink shimmer. We used #BLESSED then for the best bit - the heart on my ring finger. This was hand drawn with a brush and as much as it took a few attempts I think it looks amazing.

All of my nails have a nude builder (BIAB18) as a base and primer which means my nails don't chip or lift from appointment to appointment and then are infilled each time rather than being soaked off. Then on top is the Extreme Shine Top Coat, which you can definitely see the effects of in the photos.

I've kept a similar shape to my last set of nails and I've actually not had much filed off them either so they're quite long. Because most of them are my real nails (there's only a couple of tips after torn nail disasters) I find that even at this length I can still do everything as normal. The builder and top coat definitely help with their strength and condition!
