December is here, my tree is up and all my presents are wrapped under the Christmas tree so all I've got left to think about is the stocking fillers. Stocking fillers shouldn't be expensive but you don't have to stick to satsumas and a Toblerone when you're filling up the stocking hung on the bedpost. This Christmas tradition isn't just for the kids and it's exciting to think of some little gifts to go inside, whether it's for a friend or boyfriend. You can see my Christmas Gift Guide For Mum and Personalised Presents for wee ones if you're looking for some more inspiration.
Candles are a brilliant stocking filler whether it's for your friend or your Mum, most people love adding a candle to their cosy nights in. There's so many different brands to choose from but rather than sticking to the obvious ones it's nice to support smaller businesses. I love the uniqueness of the Esscentual Candles Paint Pot Style Tins. They're made in Scotland, only £5.99 and burn for 25 hours. My two favourites are Red Sky at Night and Home For Christmas but there's 9 in the Christmas collection.
Beauty products are another fantastic option for a stocking stuffer and I've got 2 at completely different price ranges. Benefit bring out amazing gift sets and mini sizes at Christmas time and the Benefit Blush Brunch Gift Set is basically the best shaped combo for in a stocking. This set of 6 bronzers and blushes is less than £20 and each one is a Benefit favourite. On the other end of the scale, and a bit more of a chunky product is the Lacura Exfoliating Mud Mask. This Aldi skincare radiance mask is a dupe for the GlamGlow must, just a lot cheaper at £5.99 for 50ml.
A Christmas decoration is a lovely stocking filler for adults, especially ones that have a story behind them or even better, are personalised! My Christmas tree is packed full of baubles that have a meaning and sometimes it's nice to be able to give a decoration to someone to remind them of times you've spent together. That's definitely what I was thinking with the Sass and Belle Martini Glass decoration. How appropriate is this for the ladies in your life who enjoy a cocktail or two? Why not make the stocking have a theme related to the Christmas decoration? Mojito anyone?
Now if the temperatures this week are anything to go by then my next stocking stuffer will be an absolute must for anyone with a car. The Yeti Ice Scraper is just £4.99 from Find Me a Gift so it's a really affordable gift, is totally practical but a lot more fun than the regular old ice scraper. Stocking fillers don't just have to be little items.
What's a stocking without some sweet treats? Hotel Chocolat is up there with the posh chocolatey goodies and the Hotel Chocolat Mini Pink Champagne Truffles would be the best little treat for a lady on the nice list. In fact, this would be good along side some other drink related gifts. Why not pop them inside a wine glass?
From one drink to another, you can't have Christmas without at least one festive hot chocolate and the Jordan's Skinny Syrups Whipped Foam Topping brings a hot chocolate to another level, without the guilt of all the calories! This Marshmallow flavoured one was from TK Maxx and if you time it right you can get all sorts of skinny syrups which are brilliant if you're on Slimming World. Christmas treats don't always have to be bad for you.
