Primark Haul | October 2018

It's been so long since I've been to Primark and my visit to the Tottenham Court Road store did not disappoint. Thankfully I went there first thing on a Monday morning rather than a Saturday afternoon like originally planned. I was able to leave my husband in the coffee shop (such a good idea!) and wander around looking at all the Autumn and Winter stuff before it was too chaotic. The only thing stopping me going buying loads more was our luggage allowance... a blessing in disguise perhaps.

Right now I'm loving the pinafore look. I've got a few from last year but didn't have any denim ones. I love the indigo colour of this denim pinafore and the buttons down the front. It was £12 and is guaranteed to be a staple in my wardrobe for the next few months. I would normally wear a lightweight long sleeve t-shirt with this style of outfit but I couldn't resist this cosier, ribbed, long sleeve knitted top. It was only £6, it's really soft and cream/off white colour goes with so many things. If I'm not wearing this with my pinafore I'll be wearing it with an A-Line skirt or maybe even underneath a jumper if it's freezing cold.
Jeans and a blouse or shirt is like a uniform for me. It can be girly, it can look dressed up, it can look smart for work but it can also look casual. I've been wanting a white button front blouse for a while and I could never find an affordable one but I knew Primark would come up trumps. This one is £12 but looks like it could be more expensive and from New Look, River Island or Top Shop. The buttons are a nice colour and the collar sits really nicely. It is a bit cropped and looks best with a pair of high waisted jeans. Primark does a good pair of jeans, they come in short length, and I couldn't resist this colour. You can't argue with £10 for the perfect blue high waisted jeans.

Animal print is everywhere and I quite like the subtle hint of animal print of this £10 blouse. I like the mixture of colours and it's small dot print. It's simple but still on trend. It's a much longer shirt and I had to size down in order to not be completely drowned in material. It looks good with a pair of jeans and boots though. The black super high waist skinny jeans are £9 and my most worn item of clothing. I love them.

I spotted on Instagram the new skincare range in Primark by Alex Steinherr and I was intrigued by the affordable skincare products by the former Glamour Beauty Director. I picked out two products from the Maximum Moisture category. For £5 each I bought the Micellar Cleansing Gel and Moisture Locking Everyday Moisturiser. I'm excited to see how the cruelty-free, fragrance-free, sulphate0free and paraben-free products fare up. I also bought some new Blender Sponges, there was loads to choose from, but I quite liked the look of the 4 brightly coloured sponges of different sizes for £2.50
