Honeymoon Packing Wishlist

With our wedding less than 7 weeks away, our honeymoon countdown is also fewer than 50 days. I can't quite believe I'll be exploring San Francisco and relaxing in Mexico so soon. We jet off on the Monday after our Saturday day wedding so of course our suitcases will need to be packed before that and that means my shopping better commence soon!

The things that have caught my eye all seem to be quite bright and colourful, floral or sparkly. Even better, they're all from the high street so they're affordable options when money is reserved mostly for the wedding. While we're in San Francisco it'll be go go go but we're definitely going to make sure at least one of the nights is saved for a fancy meal (well we can't eat at Cheesecake Factory every night).  I would love to wear a dress like the River Island Green Lace Dress, it's a gorgeous colour and a really flattering shape and style. The Lilac Shorts would be one of those items in my suitcase that I could wear in either destination. Whether I wear them with a pair of trainers and some layers in San Francisco or over a bikini in Mexico. That's the sort of things I'll have to think of.

Obviously honeymoon packing doesn't just mean clothes. Having some new travel accessories would be totally acceptable and one thing that I don't have is a passport cover. I've never particularly seen the point in them before but that doesn't matter when you find one as glitzy as the SkinnyDip Passport Holder

I think my favourite thing in my Honeymoon Wishlist is the Peach Floral Maxi Dress. How beautiful is the colours on that dress and it would look even better with a tan. This is definitely a dress for night time in Mexico. Though I'd probably not wear this dress with the Rose Gold Sandals, I would wear it with some little flip flops because there's no need for heels in the heat when you're relaxing and drinking the All Inclusive cocktails. The Rose Gold sandals are a good day-time option though and definitely something I'd wear at home too.

I've got a good sized 4 wheel suitcase that's going to have enough space for my 2 weeks of luggage but I'm lacking in hand luggage options. Cath Kidston are popular for their travel bags and I love the print of the Rose Expandable Travel Bag. Being able to make your bag bigger is handy for the inevitable shopping I'm going to do. Last but not least, the quirkiest and cheapest thing on my Wishlist is some Watermelon Towel Clips. Isn't it so annoying when your towel falls down on your sunbed with the slightest move? £5 and it's no longer an issue!
