Michael Kors Jet Set Crossbody Bag | Spring Pastels

I had some money in my TopCashback account crying out to be spent and instead of spending it on something sensible like a wedding invoice or something grown up like a gas bill I decided to treat myself. Well I earned it, right?! What better purchase than a Michael Kors bag? It's my favourite designer brand for bags and accessories, my collection seems to have grown but there's an over-riding theme. All of the colours are neutral - black or tan. I needed something for Spring and Summer in a different style than I already had. I present to you the gorgeous Michael Kors Jet Set Travel Cross Body Bag in Soft Pink.

The Jet Set Travel is an excellent size cross body bag because you can fit all of your essentials without having temptation to lug around lots of unnecessary junk. My Michael Kors Tan Jet Set Purse slides in and leaves space for my phone, my keys and a few beauty must haves. Right now while the weather teases us with glorious sunshine every so often I make sure I've got my sunglasses and I'm also loving my YSL Lipstick and classic favourite Alien Perfume. One of the best things about the Jet Set Travel Crossbody is the zip to keep your belongings secure. I'm definitely going to be taking this on my honeymoon for through the airport and out and about in San Francisco and Cancun. The straps are a really good length, and can be adjusted, for on the shoulder or across the body.
Even though this bag is the perfect Spring pastel shade I wasn't sure if it was going to end up redundant through the winter months. Because of this I didn't want to spend a fortune on such a seasonal bag (yes I know my cash back is almost like free money, but still...). Before I splashed the cash I wanted to make sure I was getting the best deal available. I did that in 2 different ways - Zalando and Zeek.

I could have bought this style of bag in a similar colour direct from Michael Kors or House of Fraser and spent £175. Zalando, on the other hand, was only £159.99 and has 10% student discount on top of that with Unidays. I didn't just stop there... After saving £16 I decided to go through Zeek and save a little bit more. On Zeek you can buy discounted gift cards and save anything from 1% up to 10% or 20%. I bought two £50 vouchers saving another £10 in total. It's only £26 but it's better than nothing and didn't take much effort. Definitely worth checking out before you make a purchase.
