April Favourites | Getting Tanned & Wedding Planning

My April started off in Portugal on my Hen Weekend, which was quickly followed by 3 weeks of illness and Easter break from work then finished off with some extreme wedding admin (Wedmin is one of my most used words at the moment). With a month like that my April Favourites have been a complete mix of beauty and lifestyle...

My first favourite, something that I never thought would appear on my blog is Broncho Stop Cough Pastilles. A couple of days after my hen weekend I started with a horrible cold accompanied by a cough that completely floored me. I coughed through the night and when I started with that horrible dry, tickley cough there was nothing stopping me. There's no surprise that it wasn't just me that wanted it to stop, my fiancé couldn't bare to hear me barking away any longer. I bought a packet of Bronco Stop Cough Pastilles after trying what felt like everything else and finally I found something to help. Yes, they tasted pretty horrible, and yes my cough didn't magically disappear but Broncho Stop made a massive difference.
My two beauty favourites that have been mentioned time and time again are the Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define concealer and Benefit Hoola Lite. I got a bit of colour when we were in Portugal, if you count loads of freckles as colour, and I've not been wearing any foundation since. I've been covering up any imperfections with the Conceal and Define concealer in shade C3 and then topping up my glow with Hoola Lite.

My last two favourites go hand in hand, a good cup of tea and an Alpen Light bar. I'm still following Slimming World and a Salted Caramel Alpen Light bar is my favourite way to spend my Healthy Extra B. Sitting down with a cup of tea and one of these whilst I track our RSVPs and make our evening invitations is just bliss. It's less than 3 months until our wedding day and so the to-do list is increasing and all the things that were previously organised and in control are starting to need revisited, checked and worst of all paid! This month I'll be organising dress alterations and getting decorations in check. I've made my eyelash, spray tan and nail appointments so I think I'll be spending a lot of time on Pinterest getting ideas for wedding makeup, hair and nails. I'll also be listening out for clues about my home Hen Night.
