I don't tend to do monthly favourite posts because I use the same products month in month out, with only a couple of things changing. But that can sometimes mean the products I'm loving can go unnoticed and unless I review them. Today I'm sharing my Favourite Five products - the five things I've been using and loving but haven't ranted and raved about on my blog enough recently.
I've had the ghd air hairdryer since the beginning of 2015 and I loved it from the first time I used it. It cut down the time it took me to dry my hair in half and I went from going to bed with wet hair to not being worried about washing my hair in the morning before having to go somewhere - like really it was that bad! The ghd air is back in my favourites not because of how quickly I can dry my hair but because of the DIY blow-outs I've been doing at home. Combined with a round brush I've been loving drying my hair to a sleek, straight finish. My hair feels so soft and healthy and looks so swishy and it takes less than 15minutes. In love.
My next favourite is a product that could easily go unmentioned but it deserves to be shouted from the rooftops. I love the Dove Maximum Protection Deodorant and have repurchases it time and time again. I'd be using a few different spray deodorants and felt like they just weren't working. The Dove Maximum Protection cream anti-persperiant was on offer and I picked out the Pomegranate scent not particularly expecting much. It 100% works for me and I can't imagine using a different deodorant ever again... not even being dramatic. It does mark dark clothes which is annoying but a baby wipe gets rid quite well.
My next favourite is a makeup item that I don't use day in, day out but again I've had in my dressing table since 2015 (not this specific bottle obviously). When it comes to a full face of makeup for a night out I, like millions of other ladies, love using Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation. It's the No 1 selling foundation and is available in so many different shades. I love the full coverage, airbrushed look and stays in place perfectly even if I am hitting the dance-floor. I'll definitely be packing this in my Hen Weekend makeup bag.
My skincare favourite and absolute must have product of the moment is Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. I love how gentle it is on my skin, it removes all of my face makeup and mascara and doesn't leave my dehydrated skin feeling tight or dry. I'm well stocked up after Christmas and each bottle lasts really well so I've got no excuses but to keep up my tip-top skincare routine.
My last favourite is a different one for me and a product that I've only been using since Christmas but I've just been taken by it - The Sephora Snow Glow Palette. It was a limited edition palette released at Christmas time as part of their Christmas gifts and I was lucky enough to be gifted one from my Secret Santa who had been holidaying in Las Vegas. I thought this would brilliant as part of my going out makeup but actually I've been loving using it almost everyday. The Sephora Illuminate Palette is quite similar.
I love Liz Earle, I always have it stocked up because I just can't be without it! I love Dove deodorants, the scents are always so fresh and clean!
