Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer

There's been a bit of buzz about Revolution's latest concealer, Conceal and Define Full Coverage Concealer, comparing it to Tarte's Shape Tape concealer and celebrating the huge 18 shade range. At only £4 I wanted in on the action both to see how full coverage it really was and to take advantage of the shades for fair skin tones. I ordered C3 before it went out of stock online and my expectations were rising every time it appeared on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

I want a concealer that's going to cover my under eye circles and blemishes without being cakey. Conceal and Define achieves both things with it's really creamy consistency and  smooth application. The concealer comes with a really chunky doe-foot applicator so it's easy to use and can be blended out with a sponge or brush. It's never creased or settled into fine lines for me, instead doing quite a good job for brightening under my eyes making me look more awake and leaving my skin evened out.

The concealer dries quite quickly but I've not found it drying on my skin, which is good for my dehydrated skin. I've never really set it, I don't tend to have time for baking my makeup properly in the morning before work, but it still looks good by the time I'm home at the end of a busy day. As for the shade, it's absolutely brilliant for my pale skin and I've not even got the lightest one! It's definitely a winner on shade range and I'm intrigued to try the shade either side of C3, though I think I picked out my exact shade.

At first glances the packaging looks massive and I thought I'd bagged myself the best value for money concealer ever but looking at the label there's only 3.4ml of product. Looks can definitely be deceiving but it's still an affordable concealer even if I will be buying a new one every month! And on that note, I absolutely will be buying another when this one shows signs of running out. I think it might be replacing Collection Lasting Perfection in the concealer leaderboard.
