Primark Haul | January 2018

When we were in Edinburgh, for the weekend at the start of January, before work and normality kicked in the only shop I actually bought stuff from (aside from my wedding ring and booking my honeymoon!!) was Primark. As I said in my sale haul I couldn't bare to rake through all the left over sale items in the shops and the weather was just too miserable to do some proper retail therapy so instead I relied on trusty Primark for some essentials. I bought all sorts of random things from wedding supplies to perfume dupes and my favourite jeans.
Flip flops 90p each
Any guesses what I'm going to do with 9 pairs of flip flops? I'm in full wedding planning mode so I took the opportunity to start stocking up on flip flops for my my 'dancing shoes' crate. I first saw this at a wedding a few years ago and it was a life saver when my heels were killing me so I thought I'd do one too to encourage everyone to keep dancing. I'm not 100% sure how many pairs to put in. Any brides done this and know the magic number?

Dry-fit T-shirt £5
Alice Living Sports Bra £5
It's January - the month of exercise motivation and people on health kicks. So far I've been doing quite well doing a few workouts using Youtube videos like Popsugar Fitness and Blogilates. A lot of my workout clothes are black so this pink/lilac dry-fit top makes a nice difference. Alice Living has teamed up with Primark bringing out her own range of workout clothes and there was loads of really nice colours and designs to choose from but I kept it simple with an ombre sports bra. I kind of wish I bought a pair of leggings now too.

High Waist Super Skinny Jeans £9
White Vest Top £2.50
Black Long Sleeve Top £3.50
This trip to Primark was a chance to stock up on a few essentials. These 3 items are my must haves from Primark. I LOVE the high waisted super skinny jeans, they are the perfect fit for me and are such a good price. I've bought them over and over again. White vest tops are a basic for me for under blouses, under jumpers and under hoodies. White tops always go a little off colour so replacing them every so often is a must. One of my go-to outfits for work is a A-Line skirt with a long sleeve T-shirt , tights and a pair of Chelsea boots. It's nice to have to go down a size too.

Embellished Jumper £5 down from £13
How cute is this jumper? I nearly bought this in November but had too much in my basket so stopped myself. Now it's in the sale, even better! It's a really soft knit and perfect for wearing to work on cold days. It's quite a big fit so definitely go for the smaller size if your Primark still has them. The gems all seem to be attached quite well which was something I was a little wary of the first time I spotted it in store.

Black Blouse £5
Lace Panel T-shirt £4
Another couple of basics and both of these tops are similar to things I already own and wear loads. The black blouse was in the sale and it's definitely something I'd wear if I was going out for dinner or drinks - simple but dressy. Primark had loads of those lace panel t-shirts. I've got one similar from Jack Wills but obviously with an extremely different price tag. A good little t-shirt that's a bit more interesting than normal and the lilac colour is good for heading into Spring and Summer.

Duo Eyelash Glue £4.90
Cosmic Moonstone Perfum £6
Unicorn shower Cap £2
How random is this selection of goodies? I wore quite a few pairs of false eyelashes over the festive period and my glue is started to run out so I jumped at the chance to buy Duo Eyelash Glue for quite a reasonable price. Apparently the Cosmic Moonstone perfume is a dupe for my beloved Mugler Alien perfume. The bottle definitely suggests it so fingers crossed it can be an affordable way of wearing my favourite scent every day. Last up is this hilarious unicorn shower cap, how cool am I going to look in the shower?! I don't wash my hair everyday and a lot of the time I just shove my hair into a bun and hope for the best to keep it dry but a shower cap is a much more reliable way of keeping my hair dry.
