Outfit of the Night - Glitter Party

At the end of December I was invited to a surprise birthday party that had a glitter theme as the birthday girl loves nothing more. Though I've got a couple of sequin dresses I wanted to go for face glitter instead so avoided the disco ball look and went for a little black dress. I absolutely love this LBD from Missguided. The 90's neck is really flattering and allowed me to add a bit of glitter along my shoulders. I wore my chunky heel nude shoes which are quick becoming my old trusties. I had a glittery clutch bag with me from Tesco and a big warm coat was an absolute must in the snowy weather.
I feel like I've not worn my hair straight for a night out in ages. I took my time to do a proper blow-dry with my ghd hairdryer and Lee Stafford round brush then ran my straighteners over it for a sleek finish and my hair felt amazing. For my makeup I tried out my new MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation and kept my eyes simple with a set of Ardell Demi Wispies lashes. Then for the glitter... I used the Stardust Glitter in Drops of Jupiter around my eye and along my shoulders. Stardust glitter is amazing, it's so easy to apply and the binding gel keeps it in place for ages. I put this on at 6pm and it looked almost identical by 4am when I was removing it with micellar water, makeup wipes and Hot Cloth Cleanser. If you're on the lookout for face and hair glitter for festivals or hen parties then I couldn't recommend Stardust enough.
