Hen Weekend Wardrobe Wishlist

It's less than 65 days to my Hen Weekend and I'm struggling to contain my excitement. I still don't know much more than I did at the beginning of November when I was presented my basket of clues but I've since found out that I'm travelling with Jet2 so have 22kg of luggage. I'm hoping I'll be given a list of things to pack but until then I'll have to continue dreaming up my perfect hen weekend wardrobe. I think I'm on the right tracks because I gave my bridesmaid an inflatable drinks holder for her birthday and the first thing she said was I'll be taking that on the hen... that doesn't quite match up with their story that we're going to Shetland now does it?!

Lots of high street stores have a holiday shop section on their website and it's been brilliant for helping me pick out clothes for abroad (at least I think it's abroad) when we're in the midst of winter here. Feels a bit strange picking out bikinis, playsuits and sandals when we've had days off work for snow just last week. We've also booked our honeymoon and 3 days after our wedding we jet off to San Francisco then Cancun so I'm trying to pick out items that I'll wear during my hen weekend and honeymoon in the sun.

Wearing a white dress for your hen is a bit cliche but hey, I'm the bride so why not! If this wedding has taught me anything about myself then it's I'm an absolute Magpie! If it sparkles or is glittery then I probably love it - that the case with New Look's gem embellished swimwear and both pairs of shoes. I much prefer a chunky heel when it comes to heels and a bit of a platform always helps too. I'm loving rose gold so the dress from the Gabby Allen range at Quiz is a no brainer. High waisted jeans are my favourite so I feel like a pair of high waisted jean shorts is a must and black is a flattering option when it comes to denim.
