Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Lip Balm Review

There's no denying that the temperatures have dropped recently. I'm already living in my winter jacket and digging out all my tartan scarfs. One thing that's always tucked into my pocket right now is the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Lip Balm. This little tube is a lip and life saviour.

Packed full of vitamins and minerals there's lots of ingredients to soothe, protect and soften your lips. Shea butter, honey extract and petrolatum are the ones that will seal in moisture , which is a must through winter to avoid cracked and sore lips. There's Vitamin E, A and B1 along with Calcium and Zinc to help lips feel softer and smoother. Eight Hour Cream Nourishling Lip Balm isn't just for winter with SPF, UVA and UVB filters it'll provide sun protection all year round. It's a very rich, luxurious lip balm that definitely makes a difference.

The price tag is a bit of a sore point, I'm not sure I've ever spent this much on a lip balm before and I must have been feeling spendy when it landed in my basket in Boots. It's worth looking around to save a few pounds because places like Allbeauty often sell Elizabeth Arden cheaper and FeelUnique sometimes have some good offers on.

With dry, chapped lips being so painful it's worth finding a good quality lip balm like the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Nourishing Lip Balm. I can put it on at the start of my day and not feel like I'm constantly needing to top it up throughout the work day to have healthy, protected lips. It's a good base for a statement lip for a night out too. The slanted tube applicator isn't for everyone and I'd be keen to see how the lip balm pot and lip protectant stick compares.
