Beauty Haul - Skinny Tan, Smashbox & 3 for 2

It's not very often that I buy lots of beauty products all at once so I'm going to blame this haul on being ill and off work. Lying in bed and resting up meant I had time to scout out beauty bargains and make lots of online orders... dangerous! I had parcels landing on my doorstep nearly every day of the week. A haul is 100% necessary to make me feel better about the fact that my postie thinks I'm a shopaholic.

Skinny Tan
I've heard people raving about Skinny Tan for well over a year and when their big clearance popped up in an advert I was intrigued. The RRP for the 6 tanning products is £80 but they were selling the bundle, with a free tanning mitt, for £30 because the packaging was damaged or the boxes were missing. Considering I was tempted to try the gradual tan or 7 day tan, which would have cost £14.99 a piece I was sucked in. All of the bottles are full size and strangely enough arrived properly packaged, except the After Glow Gloss, which makes it feel even more of a bargain.
I had a rogue pair of Ardel Demi Wispies tucked away in my dressing table and I wore them on a recent night out (Makeup of the Night details here). I couldn't believe how easy they were to apply and I loved how they looked. It made me feel so much better after being without my eyelash extensions for the first time in around 6 or 7 months! I'll obviously be able to use those lashes again a couple more times but I wanted to buy some more to be ready for all the festivities on the horizon. had one of the best priced multipacks and with a 10% off coupon code for first orders and free delivery I was sold.

When I hear someone saying they bake when talking about makeup I finally feel in the know, and not completely baffled and left thinking about cakes and Bake Off. This GOSH setting powder sounds perfect for baking and the yellow colour helps with redness and under eyes. I'm looking forward to experimenting with it and putting it's multi purposes to the test.
In the Summer I was using the L'Oreal Infallible Total Cover Foundation which was matte and bit more suited to normal/oily skin. Since the temperatures have started to drop I've already noticed a change in my skin and it's heading back to it's usual dry/dehydrated ways. The new Infallible foundation is hydrating and I've got my fingers crossed that it's going to be as high coverage and long lasting as the Total Cover version.
I haven't tried anything from the Nip and Fab cosmetics range yet but they had the best looking colour correcting concealers so I thought I'd take advantage of the 3 for 2 offer and try one out. I have to admit the Terracotta colour is extremely scary looking but it's meant to be good for under the eye. I just hope my skintone isn't too light for it!

Smashbox is one of my favourite high-end makeup brands and I'm slowly adding more of their products to my stash. Concealers are my number one, must have makeup products and so I wanted to try out what Smashbox had to offer. The Camera Ready BB Cream had 5 star reviews and promised the things I want - hydration, correction and illumination for dark circles. I was a little surprised by the brush applicator but I'm optimistic. The Photo Op Under Eye Brightener is a bit more of a highlighter rather than concealer so it's actually a product I don't already own. It's quite versatile and a nice addition to my makeup bag.
