Outfits of the Night - Marmaris, Turkey

It's nearly been a week since we got home from our relaxing holiday to Marmaris in Turkey and I feel like I've been thrown straight back in with the holiday blues and back to work blues in tow. I'm going to review our hotel in full because it's an absolute hidden gem that I would recommend one hundred times over but until I've got the time to get all my thoughts and opinions down I'm sharing some outfit pictures. Each night after a full day in the sun I got dressed up ready to head for dinner and enjoy the evening entertainment with some drinks. The temperatures were still high after the sunset, reaching 30 degrees most nights, and the humidity was unreal so getting my outfit, makeup and hair right was no easy task!

Back to Work Wishlist

I cannot believe my 6 weeks of Summer holidays off work is over already. The time has absolutely flown past. It's been packed full of wedding excitement including trying on wedding dresses, buying my bridesmaids' dresses and buying, designing and making wedding admin and decor. I've spent a week in a lovely little cottage with friends and attending 2 weddings and then a week in Marmaris in Turkey. I've also had the chance to relax and recharge my batteries which was definitely needed after an intense and busy final term last year. Now that I'm feeling refreshed I'm ready to get back to work and back to routine. Back to school always needs a bit of Back to School Shopping, even if I am the teacher! I'm lusting after a big mix of Summer and Autumn items ready to transition into the colder weather and things to try and keep me organised and inspired. And after getting quite spendy throughout the summer quite a few of these things are sale items found through Love The Sales which is a must use website when it comes to finding some of the best offers.

What was your favourite thing to buy when you went back to school shopping? I'm like a kid in a sweet shop when it comes to stationery, definite teacher problems. A wardrobe update is another must, pushing the boat out by wishing for a new Michael Kors bag but a girl can dream.

Summer Wedding Outfit | Chi Chi London

Dress: Chi Chi London, Shoes: Primark, Fascinator: Dorothy Perkins

I've got another Summer wedding outfit and this time instead of lace and bodycon I went for big and bright and absolutely loved it. I spotted this dress on Chi Chi London a couple of months ago and it was sold out at the time. I waited rather impatiently for it to come back in stock and I'm so glad I did. It's such a flattering style and with so many colours I could have accessorised in so many different ways. I kept it simple with a pair of nude heels from Primark. They were so comfortable with a chunky heel and big platform. I wore them for the whole night and danced loads. My nude bow bag is also from Primark and it was great for tucking a scarf into for keeping me dry during the downpour of rain as we left the church. My fascinator was a last minute purchase from Dorothy Perkins. I had a different nude fascinator but it was a bit darker and when I spotted this beauty in the sale for only £15 I couldn't resist. We had a fantastic day celebrating with my uni friends and it was made even more special as it was 365 days until our wedding! Time to get organised.

One Year To The Wedding Photos

It's less than 365 days until our big day and to mark the official countdown we had a pre-wedding photo shoot as part of our wedding package. We were engaged for a few months before we found our photographer and we didn't want to wait until just before the wedding to be our first time in front of the lens so we opted for a One Year To Go shoot. Our photographer is reasonably new in the world of wedding photos so it was great for us to have a little practice as well as see exactly what she could do and most importantly have some fun photos we could cherish forever.
Choosing a wedding photographer is no easy task but it's so important to find someone that you can click with. I've experienced some bossy ones, awkward ones and worst of all ones who just don't produce the best photos at the end of it all. Obviously budget comes into play and when you can find a photographer with a pre-wedding shoot included it's great to put your nerves at ease. We headed to the play park then onto the beach for some light hearted, natural and fun photos. We couldn't have been luckier with the weather and the time flew past after those first few clicks of the camera. Now for the tricky part, which photos will we get printed?
This next year is going to fly past and I can't wait for all the little details of the day to be captured by such a friendly and relaxed photographer. £10 Day Event

It's that time of year again for fans, their big £10 Birthday event. Everything on their website is £10, whether it's a VIP Collection Dress or a jacket in preparation for winter, a playsuit for a girls night out or a snug suit for hungover days, a skirt for work or trainers for the gym it's worth checking out. There's free delivery over £50 and worldwide shipping to add to the excitement. I've picked out 4 of my favourite outfits from their site* and to buy them during their £10 Birthday Event would save over £60!

Quiz Summer Wedding Outfit

Dress, Fascinator and Shoes: Quiz Clothing

Last week my best friends, fiance and I went to our first full wedding of the year and it was an absolutely stunning day. From getting ready together in the cottage we were renting, to prosecco in the garden, followed by drinks on the school bus that took us to the venue. The sun shone all day and it was perfect for the beautiful bride and groom. It was so nice to see everyone together in a gorgeous venue all dressed up and celebrating the newly wed couple. My outfit from head to toe was from Quiz. I loved the bardot style of the pink, lace dress and it was a popular style with lots of the guests. It had a bit of sparkle which matched in with the rose gold heels from Quiz. I opted for a navy fascinator, and had no idea Quiz would have such a gorgeous one. With it being on a hairband it was really easy to wear and made styling my hair a stress free task. I also had a navy bag which never made it into any photos but it was just a cheap clutch from eBay which matched my fascinator and was the perfect size for my phone, lipstick and photobooth prints. My whole outfit cost less than £100 but I felt a million dollars (Cheesey!)
