A post that doesn't need too much of an introduction. November started off with an on-going cold, which required lots of pick-me-ups and plenty of paracetamol. The festive switch was pressed in the middle of the month with Christmas Show rehearsals starting at work and the Christmas movies starting on the TV (and Netflix, Amazon and on DVD). Then the month ended with my birthday and it's celebrations. I'm looking forward to trying out lots of new things from my lovely selection of presents. As for the favourites there's lots of classics and products making a reappearance.
This hairdryer is amazing. It's literally halved the time it used to take for me to dry my hair and with that it means I can actually dry it and go, which was a huge no-no before. It wasn't until I was speaking to my hairdresser about the Dyson hairdryer (which isn't amazing by the way) that I began to appreciate the ghd air again. Time for a little bit of love and appreciation in November.
Another hair tool that I rediscovered my love for was my Lee Stafford round brush. This is so good for at home blow-drys. I'm able to get volume and sleek hair without relying on my straighteners. It's taken me a while to perfect it and there's still room for improvement, I'd love to be able to do a curly blow out, but for now I'm happy with the results.
I bought this gorgeous looking Real Techniques brush in July, featured it in my September favourites and have used it nearly everyday since. Instead of using it for blush or bronzer I've been using it to blend concealer. It's such a good size and shape, working well for blemishes and under my eyes.
I reviewed this bronzer in the month of November after using it day after day. It's such a lovely colour that's wearable for daytime and can be built up for a night time look. I'm loving the healthy glow look, especially while I've been under the weather.
This was a pre-black friday sale purchase so I've not had it all month but since it arrived I've been loving it. I bought it when Missguided had their 50% off code and I wanted something a bit glitz and glam for Christmas time. Rather than spend a few pounds on a proper Christmas themed case I opted for one I can use well into the new year. It's really good quality too.
Another product that's done the rounds and ended up back in my favourites this month is the Benefit best selling mascara. This is a nightmare to get off and can easily lead to panda eyes in the shower but while it's on it looks fab. My eyelashes look much longer, thicker and curlier with this lovely little mascara.
