ASOS Haul - Dune, ASOS & JDY

If you've read my 'Back to Word Catch Up' you'll have seen that I made an ASOS order. I spent hours browsing the site, mainly the outlet section, on the hunt for some workwear. I ended up buying 5 things and spent nearly £80 but unfortunately 2 of the tops looked awful. One was a New Look jumper and it wasn't quite what I was expecting. The other was a white blouse which ended up being awful quality. It's so disappointing when that happens. I made sure to package them back up straight away and use the handy free Collect Plus service. Never the less I've got 3 things that I'm quite happy with and thought I'd share them today in hope that they're still in stock.

I've been to a few weddings recently and had major shoe envy. Loads of people have been wearing gorgeous nude heels and I've had to settle with court shoes or wedges. I've got a wedding coming up in October and decided it was time to get over my jealousy and buy myself a pair. Dune shoes always fit really well, the chunky heel means I won't be too unsteady on my feet and the discount was too good to miss out on. I've since found them for slightly cheaper on the Dune website - typical!

Skirts are perfect for work. I can wear tights, boots and wrap up in a jumper if the weather is rubbish in Autumn/Winter. In Spring/Summer I can wear sandals and short sleeved tops and still look professional-ish. A-Line style skirts are really flattering and I love the scalloped hem on this ASOS brand one. I also managed to bag 10% off using my boyfriend's student discount. You can get similar ones in a stripe print or white if black is too boring for you.

I was on the hunt for some floral blouses and ended up clicking on this short sleeve top by Jacqueline De Yong. It's more of a box shape top than I was expecting but it's so comfortable. The sleeves are a really flattering length and the print isn't too bright for Winter and doesn't look miserable and wintery. So far I've worn it with a pair of jeans but I reckon I could wear it with skinny trousers or a skirt for work. JDY clothing has definitely caught my eye now.
