Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water; Quick and effective was key for my skincare routine during the busy, hectic year and Garnier's Micellar water fit the bill perfectly. An affordable product that works just as well as some higher end brands makes this an easy first favourite.
Benefit They're Real Mascara; I tried a few different mascaras during the year but I keep going back to the Benefit best seller. It works so well on my lashes. A few lashes of mascara and I've got long, curled, voluminous lashes that don't flake or smudge throughout the day.
Clinique Moisture Surge; This favourite has carried on from 2014 into 2015. It's an amazing moisturiser for my dry, dehydrated skin. It's perfect for using before applying makeup and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth at night.
Benefit Hoola Bronzer; In the past I would stick to wearing bronzer in the summer months but in 2015 I was embracing the contoured look along with a bit of glow throughout the summer. Hoola bronzer has been the one that's always in my makeup bag.
MAC Face and Body Foundation; It's not easy to find a foundation that matches perfectly, lasts all day and works with dry skin. I was impressed to find out this year that the Face and Body does exactly that. I've been wearing it every day and a bottle seems to last ages.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Makeup; I upgraded my 'night out' foundation this year and can't believe I haven't invested in the award winning Double Wear foundation sooner. This foundation leaves my skin looking flawless and doesn't feeling too heavy or drying. It's a shame I don't have an Estee Lauder budget all the time.
MAC Pro Concealer; This was a 2015 purchase that's been used almost daily ever since. My under-eye circles are one of my biggest skin problems and this concealer is one of the best I've ever used!
Tartan Scarfs; I suppose my first fashion favourite only applies to the winter months but considering I live in Scotland I feel like that's more than half of the year! I started 2015 wearing a beautiful purple shade tartan scarf and have finished it off with a green one (and a gorgeous new one at Christmas).
Statement Necklaces; This is quite a different favourite for me. For years I had something I can only describe as a necklace phobia. I couldn't wear necklaces as I'd feel sick and panicky. Slowly this year I've started wearing bigger statement necklaces and now an outfit is nearly not complete without one. Feels like a huge achievement and now I love buying and wearing different ones. A memory that touched my heart was my Granny exclaiming, "You're wearing a necklace!" from her hospital bed.
Michael Kors Watch; After Santa delivered my gorgeous Michael Kors watch last Christmas there's barely been a day I haven't worn it. I love the mixed metal look and the little sparkles on the face.
Skater Dresses; This year I've found skater dresses to be the most flattering style for me. Whether it's workwear or a night out it's definitely the best fit for me. This blue lace dress from Fuschsia White was one of my 2 favourites to wear this year. Another fave was a floral one from Quiz.
New Home; An obvious favourite for me this year is buying our first home together. It was a New Years Resolution for us to make the move and in August we sealed the deal. It's been an amazing change and I couldn't be happier.
Amazon Fire TV; My boyfriend bought this little gadget when it was released in 2015 and I've ended up stealing it away from him. Being able to watch Youtube, Netflix and catch up apps on any TV in the house makes for the ultimate chilling out essential. Handy when you can't quite afford a Smart TV for every room.
iPad Mini; Whether I'm travelling, lying in bed or chilling on the couch my iPad Mini is likely to be close by. I have to admit my favourite app has embarrassingly been the Kim Kardashian game.
Yankee Candles; I wasn't fussed by candles before getting my house but since having my own space I've been loving having candles all over the place. The love led to my standard chocolate advent calendar being replaced by the Yankee Candle one. Such a grown up.
