Summer Essentials

Quick and easy hair is a must for the summer and there's nothing easier than plaits in your hair over night and styled with a bit of sea salt spray in the morning. The Toni and Guy Casual spray isn't too sticky or drying and it leaves my hair looking beach and holds the waves really well.

When the sun comes out and the tights come off you can't be caught off guard with hairy legs. The Nair in shower cream is really quick and convenient, it leaves my skin feeling really soft and smooth and is longer lasting than shaving!

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream
The last thing I'm thinking about in the summer is a full face of makeup. The first sight of the sun and my freckles are out in force so I'm quite happy with a light coverage BB cream just to cover up any red bits. This Dream Fresh BB cream is the first one that I've found that isn't ridiculously orange or just disappears after 5 minutes.

When I tan I don't dramatically change colour enough to warrant a different colour foundation, but I find using this cheaper Soleil Tan De Chanel dupe makes for a perfect base. I can put it on before foundation, mix it in with foundation or use it for contouring and bronzing. It's such a versatile product.

Another hair must have for the summer. When it starts to heat up and you want to get your hair out of your face an invisible is fab. It holds my hair up tightly in a messy bun but also means my hair isn't left with a big horrible kink if I want to pull it all back down after a while.

Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter
I know most people use more moisturiser in the winter but I definitely love a light, creamy moisturiser in the summer. The Righteous Butter is a gorgeous scent and I love using it especially for any red burnt bits or for trying to make my tan last longer.
