June has been a great month, it's just a shame that the weather hasn't quite been up to my summer standards for the whole month. It was my Mum's birthday at the beginning of them month which meant a weekend away to celebrate. In the middle of the month I had an interview and got myself a full time job which led to a big more celebrating and I've ended the month with a countdown to my 6 weeks summer holiday starting at 12noon on Thursday!
My first favourite of the month is a reflection of the rubbish weather. Instead of Sunday afternoons out on adventures my boyfriend and I have been binge watching Prison Break. We missed the boat when it first came out in 2005 (10 years ago - crazy!) so we've spent many an hour watching nervously. It's replaced Revenge quite well.
My next favourite is a bit of a bargain dupe. I bought this Real Technique-esque angled makeup brush from eBay for less than £2 with the intention of using it for bronzer. It sat in my brush holder unused for months until I discovered that it works for everything! I've been using it this month for foundation, bronzer, concealer, power... anything!
Next is a favourite repeater. In May I mentioned how much I loved Benefit Gimme Brow and the love has continued throughout June. It's amazing how much difference a little product can make to your face.
Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh is a gorgeous perfume any time of the year but it's perfect for the summer. It's light, fresh and so long lasting. I used to keep it for nights out and special occasions but I've found myself using it more and more often this month.
My last favourite for June is Bioderma Seblum H20. I've been using this everyday, morning and night, to cleanse my skin and what a difference it's made! My skin hasn't been breaking out as often, it isn't as dehydrated and it feels so clean and refreshed.
