NOTD: Nude Sparkles

With Valentines day fast approaching I wanted to do a neutral romantic nail look and these two polishes went together perfectly. Barry M's Gelly Hi-Shine in Lychee has been one of my favourites since it came out. It's a gorgeous nude colour that isn't too pale or too brown and lasts for days without chipping. To make this look a bit more girly and valentines-esque I added the Nails Inc Special Effects Derby Gate glitter on my thumb and ring finger. These statement nails add a bit of glam and excitement to an otherwise neutral look. I finished off all of the nails with the Nails Inc Caviar Top Coat. It's very fast drying and keeps my nails looking polished for a long time. Unfortunately my nails looks quite bumpy and uneven. That's all down to a mixture of shellac, false nails and messy application. With a little bit of TLC my nails will soon be back to normal.

What nail do you choose for a statement nail?
Have you done a Valentines NOTD?

  1. I still need to try Barry M Lychee! It has been on my 'to buy' list for over a year at least and I've just never got round to buying it. I love the glitter that you have paired it with too, it's a very pretty combo :) xx
