When it comes to applying my makeup I've been stuck in a bit of a rut. I've been using the same products and the same brushes to achieve the same look. It was almost a case if it's not broken don't fix it when in actual fact there was a lot of room for improvement.
The blending sponge is soft and squishy to start and once it's submerged in water it grows and becomes bigger and even squishier. I was so impressed by the quality of the sponge especially for the price and being a cruelty free product it's even better value.
If you're new to blending sponges you'll find it takes a bit longer to use than a brush, you can't just put blobs of product on your face and expect to buff it into the right places. Instead it takes foundation on the back of your hand and stippling in small areas. It's a 4-in-1 sponge because there's 4 different areas of the sponge that each have a different job. From a fine tip for small areas, a flat surface for around the eyes and nose, an easy to hold middle and a large rounded bottom for large areas of the face.
I love how my skin looks, it feels like it takes a bit more foundation but I'm left with flawless, even skin that doesn't feel weighed down. Definitely an essential for my night out makeup kit.
The Nanshy 4-in-1 makeup sponge is brand new to Nanshy and available from February.
