January Empties

Palmolive Smooth Delight
I'm bad for chopping and changing when it comes to shower gel but I used this one daily after starting it. I've reviewed it on my blog and stand by my opinion that it's a good one for winter skin. It's a simple, affordable shower cream that I'd be tempted to pick up whilst doing my food shop.

Revlon Colourstay foundation
My absolutely favourite foundation. I've been using this foundation for nights out since my first year in uni, fast forward 5 years and I'm still using it for nights out. Having a version for dry skin is amazing, the colour selection is great and it's the perfect medium-high coverage for having "flawless skin". I'm already using a new one.

Collection Cosmetics Lasting Perfection Concealer
Another month, another empty Lasting Perfection Concealer. I don't need to go into too much detail here, all you need to know is I rate this as highly as most other bloggers and that I've probably already bought a replacement.

Mark Hill Beautiful Blonde Shampoo
This is a random little empty. I'm guilty of getting products in gift sets at Christmas time and stashing them away instead of using them. It's a habit that I think I've finally cracked (helped along by a shopping ban) and this mini Mark Hill bottle was one of the first to go. It's a lovely shampoo, didn't dry my hair out. I didn't notice much difference in my hair but there was only about 10 uses in the bottle so it's not a surprise. I'd recommend the Mark Hill hair sets that come out at Christmas time and it's just a shame some of the products aren't available the rest of the time.

I'd like to begin by defending myself and pointing out that this packet lasted for months! I only really use makeup wipes after a night out and these ones were really good at removing most of my makeup and not drying out in the packet after being left for ages. Johnson's are pretty good for sensitive skin and this never affected my skin badly. I'd buy these again for a  post-night out backup.

Absolutely Givenchy
Has anyone else got a perfume that they love so they don't use it? I got this limited edition Givenchy perfume on my first trip to London many many years ago. I absolutely loved the scent and used it strictly for special occasions, to the point that I barely even used it because I didn't want it to finish. Thankfully I came to my senses (when I realised I had no more space for perfumes) and used up the last little bit. It's such a shame that it's limited edition.

A bit of an out of season empty. With only a little bit left in a Summer Body moisturiser and craving a bit of a glow I used the rest of this up. I love this in the summer as it can be a lot easier to maintain than fake tan. I'll more than likely be buying this again towards May.

  1. I've tried the Mark Hill straightening shampoo and didn't think it helped my hair that much either, I suppose you have to use them for longer than one bottle haha!
    Great post, x
