Slendertoxtea Introduction

Today kick started the start of my 14 day Slendertoxtea detox. Slendertoxtea has caught my eye across twitter, Instagram and blogs, I've seen the transformations and was keen to jump on board. The website explains it all, highlighting all the positive changes you can expect after 14 days of tea:

Our 100% herbal, clean detox, organic tea will give you the best, most natural detox your body likely needs, especially if you have never done a detox before! It works by breaking down the fatty deposits which adheres to the intestine enabling your metabolism to work much more efficiently, within a short period of time you will find you have:
  • Increased Energy
  • Increased Metabolism
  • Beat the bloat
  • Weight loss
  • A new detoxed you
Since the new year I've worked hard to fix any bad eating habits, I've tracked my nutrition with the help of My Fitness Pal and I've up-ed my workouts with the help of Lucy Mecklenburgh, Blogilates, The Fitness Marshall and Pop Sugar Fitness. When I've looked at tea detoxes before I'd have been guilty of thinking it would be quick fix with no hard work. I'm fully aware this won't be the case. Slenderteatox recommends a healthy eating plan and it's not too different from what I've been eating so far this year so rather than make too many changes I'm going to stick to what I know.

I'm a fan of green tea so the thought of Slendertoxtea and it's taste didn't scare me. All I can say from my first cup is it's very herbal and not one I instantly loved but it was easy to drink and I think I might grow to like it. If you can't stand that sort of teas you can put it a drop of honey in to sweeten it up. I can tell already that it's going to have a "clearing out effect" and from what I've heard the Sleeptoxes have even more of a "laxative effect". It's all part of beating the bloating and weight loss.

I'm looking forward to writing a full review and sharing the results in a Fitness Friday post soon. It's only right that I start off the detox with a before picture. Fingers crossed I'll be happier with the after picture in 2 weeks!

Has anything to do with health and fitness sneaked it's way in your resolutions?
Have you tried a teatox?
