Paul Mitchell Clarifying Shampoo Two Review

Paul Mitchell Clarifying Shampoo Two
£8.20*

Using thick shampoos, heaps of conditioner and rich intensive hair treatments including oils and leave in sprays it's a little wonder my hair can start to feel weighted down and greasy from all the product build up. I've found clarifying shampoos are great to add into my hair care routine to help clear my scalp. Since my last one ran out I was keen to try out a different brand. I've tried a few Paul Mitchell products before so the Shampoo Two seemed like a good idea.

I only use a clarifying shampoo two or three times a month. I don't want to strip my hair in the process of removing build up. Shampoo Two wasn't at all drying and lathered up nicely.
I was quite surprised by the fresh, lemon scent of the shampoo. It's quite pleasant and one I associate with cleanliness so quite a suited fragrance. Don't worry it doesn't smell like toilet cleaner! The first time I used it I didn't notice too much difference so used it again the next week and was left with squeaky clean hair that lasted 3 days without a spritz of dry shampoo in sight. Clearly the amount of product in my hair was a bit more than a single wash! It doesn't take a lot of shampoo to wash all of my long, thick hair so looks like this bottle will last for quite a few months.

For a good quality, cleansing shampoo this is really good value, even better when it's bought with the discounts of Hairtrade.com. Make sure you don't use it too frequently though, or you'll be stripping your hair of any goodness and creating a whole new problem for your hair.

Do you suffer from product build-up?
