Blackhead Killer Gift Set Review

Blackhead Killer Gift Box

One of the most common skin problems is blackheads. The pesky clogged pores look horrible, cause acne and can be a pain to get rid of. It's no surprise I was very excited to get my hands on the Blackhead Killer Gift box from StyleLux.
The 3 step gift box has 100ml of cleanser, 100ml of moisturiser and 5 packets of Blackhead Killer peel off masks.

The first step and product in the set is the facial cleanser which is designed to unclog pores and help prevent blackheads. It is a preparatory product to get your skin ready for the face mask and to renew the surface of your skin helping it to be soft and smooth. The cleanser has a gel consistency which lathers slightly. It felt quite thick on my skin but did leave it feeling soft and clean before moving onto the face mask. I've not seen a dramatic difference in my skin using this before the mask rather than a normal cleanser but I do like how soft and smooth my skin feels.

I've reviewed the Blackhead Killer Masks on my blog already. I was very excited to get my hands on another bundle of these peel off masks. They're hard working masks that really impress me every time I use them. The painful peeling process is worth every minute to have  clearer pores on my nose and chin.

This was the product I was most looking forward to trying in the set. I've got dry, sensitive skin and when blackhead clearing products can be quite strong it's important that I've got something to lock in moisture. StyleLux describe this as being perfect for skin hydration and to close pores, treat redness and irritation. As I mentioned before the Blackhead Killer masks are a bit painful and this was fantastic at reducing irritation and leaving my skin feeling soft. It's really light and didn't feel like it was clogging up my now clear pores.  I really liked the fragrance of this moisturiser too so they're onto a winner with this one.

£89 is a bit on the expensive side. It's not within my budget to buy anyone or to be asking anyone to get it for me which is a shame as the set is fantastic. I'd highly recommend the face masks if you're on a tight budget.
