L'Oreal Nude Magique Eau De Teint Foundation Review

After featuring the Giorgio Armani Silk Foundation in a wish list post someone told me that Armani and L'Oreal are made by the same company and that it would be worth checking out the L'Oreal foundations before splashing out on the high end versions. I wasn't sure which foundation to choose but after a bit of blog research I settled for the Giorgio Armani Maestro Foundation Dupe that is Nude Magique Eau De Teint.

The bottle is a bit disappointing at only 20ml and lacks a pump which adds an element of messiness and a hygiene issue. The packaging is quite nice though, with a frosted glass bottle making it feel a bit more luxurious than a typical drugstore foundation.

I was slightly concerned that I had a faulty product when I first used it, even after lots of shaking the foundation seemed to run straight down my hand. It takes a bit of getting used to and I've resorted to a slow and steady technique rather than one big blob and blend out. Once you get used to it it's such a lovely foundation to use. It feels light on my skin and leaves a lovely finish.

If you're looking for a foundation that doesn't feel like a foundation, I 100% recommend this. I'd be a bit wary if you've got oily skin or any dry patches - I feel like it might be a case of slip and slide or cling on.

Which foundations have you bought after hearing they're a high end dupe?
