New Look Haul

With New Look being one of the only clothes shops near me it's hardly surprising that I'm tempted to buy something from it every time I'm in it. The past 3 times I've been I've bought 1 thing and I've been quite impressed with the quality and price of them all so I thought I'd share.
My old black wedges were falling apart, looked scruffy and had stretched so much I had to put tissue at the toe to stop them falling off my feet. It was about time I bought new ones, some outfits just need wedges! These black wedge shoe boots were only £20, have a good size heel and platform and look good with tights or bare legs. Really happy to replace my horrible faded old ones.

I'm certainly not a legging as trouser person but last year I bought the Zara leggings (the ones that are highly talked about this year, with a funny waist band and zip detail). They were really comfortable and felt almost like trousers and I wore them loads. I needed new ones but instead of buying them online I decided to try New Look's Tregging version. They're very similar - thick, good quality, mix between legging and trouser. They've got a zip, pockets and all the details that make them slightly more trouser than legging. The only problem with these is the waist band. Unlike the elasticated one on the Zara version these have a very rigid, tight band which can make choosing a size a difficult task.

These were in the sale but I don't remember seeing them at the start of the season when they would have been full price. These boots are really comfortable, quite light on my feet but have a thick and sturdy sole for stomping through puddles. They come up to just below my knee and fit at the calves really well. They were only £22 in store but have since been brought down to £16 - well worth it!
