April and May Empties

This empties post is slightly different from my others. I took inspiration from a few bloggers and decided to tackle my pile of samples. I'm not sure why I hadn't used them before and finally have managed to try out some new products and clear a space in my product drawers!

A product that everyone should have just in case, you never know when your going to have a bad hair day. I was attracted to the bottle rather than the scent when I bought this in Boots but it's definitely one of their better ones.

Would I Repurchase?
I prefer this scent over some of the other Batiste ones so probably would.

A shampoo I found in the bathroom with less than a quarter left. Seems I got that bad habit from my Mum! I'm glad I borrowed/stole it as it turned out to be a great shampoo!

Would I Repurchase?
Definitely, but since searching for it I can't seem to find it anywhere except ebay and Amazon for more than it's actually worth.

An old classic and this bottle lay nearly empty for the majority of a year. When I was sorting out my products I stumbled upon it and there was only enough for half an application.

Would I Repurchase?
I don't need to at the moment as I've got loads of old tanning lotions and potions that I need to use up, but I like this one so I would buy it in the future.

Collection Cosmetics Lasting Perfection Concealer  £4.19

There's not much that can be said about this. Not the first, and not the last tube of this amazing concealer. They do themselves no favours by having awful disappearing writing on the packaging.

Would I Repurchase?
Yes, what blogger wouldn't?!

Would I Purchase?
I'm tempted, I like the texture more than moisturising creams I just hope it won't make as much mess as using the sample sachet does.

Would I Purchase?
I've used a few of the Herbal Essences shampoos and conditioners and this one worked quite nicely with my hair so I probably would if they were on offer.

Asda Little Angels Large Cotton Wool Pads (100) £1.47

I love these cotton wool pads. One is big enough to take off all my makeup in one go - fuss free!

Would I Repurchase?
Yes - cheap and cheerful, and a good size for getting all your makeup off using only one pad.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Invigorating Foaming Scrub (150ml) £3.99

Would I Purchase?

Yeah I really liked it, I just hope it would work with my skin over a long period of time.

Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment (200ml) £7.99

Another tub bites the dust. I've been using this as an intensive conditioner most times that I wash my hair so I got through it quite quickly  but my hair just seems to love it.

Body Shop Aloe Gentle Exfoliator (75ml) £9

This exfoliator managed to lie at the bottom of a drawer for months and months completely unused. Thankfully I found it during my spending ban just when I needed a new face wash.

Would I Repurchase?

It's a bit pricey so I probably wouldn't unless it was on offer.

Clinique Moisture Surge (30ml) £20

I think I got this sample size Clinique Moisturiser as a freebie in a magazine absolutely ages ago! I had high expectations and probably because I used it so sparingly it didn't really do much.

Would I Repurchase?

I'm not sure I would. It didn't seem to work that well and it's a bit pricey to not have amazing results.

  1. I need to tackle my samples box too..it's getting a little out of hand! xx

  2. Good Job with your empties!
I need to try the Lee Stafford product!
