March Empties

This isn't a brand I'd ever heard of or a scent I'd usually choose when it comes to shampoo and conditioner. I won these 2 products on twitter and was quite excited to try them out.
They're intended for dry and damaged hair and I felt they just didn't do anything for my hair. Maybe my hair isn't dry or damaged.

Would I repurchase?
Nope, it didn't really do much for my hair and the conditioner certainly isn't detangling!

Schwarzkopf Touch of Silver Reflex Shampoo
I bought this stuff years ago and it seems like it's either been rebranded or isn't available any more because I can't find it online anywhere. I bought this before I dyed my hair and thought that it didn't work so it fell to the back of a drawer. After an afternoon reorganising I found it and turns out it's one of the best purple shampoos I've used.

Would I repurchase?
I would if I could find it, but I think it might have been a bit pricey.

Body Shop gift sets at Christmas always include a cute wee body butter and this was one of my favourite scents. This is really thick and felt lovely to use. The only thing that annoys me is trying to get the product out without it getting stuck under my nails!

Would I repurchase?
I love this scent so it probably is one of the body butters that I would buy again - especially when Body Shop have their offers on.

This was a repurchased mascara which I've been using one and off since it came out. Maybelline always seems to get it right when it comes to mascara!

Would I repurchase?
Yup, it's good to find a mascara which can add volume, add a bit of length, hold curl and not smudge everywhere.
This is actually a 100ml bottle, I just couldn't find it online. I've had this for a few years and finally finished it thanks to my spending ban (and hiding my new birthday and Christmas perfumes). I think most people have tried this sweet, girly scent.

Would I repurchase?
I'm not sure I would. I think I'm finally growing out of this kind of totally sweet scents but I still wouldn't mind if I received it as a gift.

When Rimmel released the Wake Me Up range I was straight in boots gathering together the foundation and concealer, in fact I think I bought this on an introductory price because I don't remember it being almost the same price as the foundation. It's quite a good sized tube and lasted for ages!

Would I repurchase?
Yeah, I might try out a different shade as I think this would be a good one for under the eyes but ivory was a bit too light.

  1. You can get Touch of Silver in Boots, I think it was rebranded, now made by a company called Pro-voke. I use the weekly treatment and the daily shampoo and conditioner, and love it!

    1. Ahh that explains it. I did wonder why they'd get rid of it completely. Thanks for letting me know x
